Default 2001 Civic EX vs 2000 Focus ZX3

I'm having a little debate with my buddy (ZX3 owner.) We both have intakes, he's MT - I'm ATX. Who would win from a 40 roll?

you just have an intake? That doesn't give that much more hp. Is yours stick? I hate focuses.

You have about the same amount of HP, he has 20lbs more torque then you, and he's manual transmission. I'd give it to the Focus if he knows how to drive since all you have to do is mash the gas pedal.

Auto civics are very weak and should not race.

I think the focus would win froma rolling start. But you never know, it being a ford would probably break down.

depends if the focus can actually shift, instead of spinning clutch on every shift.. that makes a huge difference. Get it done and update us.
