Im interested in making my 01 civic ex faster even though it's an Automatic. I want to add stuff besides the cool air intake. Please help

 

Full exhaust systems can boost 5-15 hp easy
skunk2 header
upgrade your fuel rail skunk2 makes a nice one well bunches but ya
change your pulleys
better plugs
msd ignition
try diff types of chip but becareful of fakes
change up electronics
on and on this will get u started though hopefully

Without tuning, full exhaust will get you about 5-8 hp... if that.

Fuel rails will not make a difference. They are more of a bling thing unless your OEM fuel rail cannot keep up. It is known that OEM rails are good up to like 800hp lol.

I would not mess with pulleys, if you feel inclined, you could pull out A/C or P/S.

Start researching tuning options for an AT 01-05 Civic.


I'll be honest, you will not make much extra power with the D series. Also, the D17 is not as supported by aftermarket companies as the D16's from previous Civics. Just make sure you do your research.

 

yep no one ever said dont get tuned thats always the thing to do and never said pulleys and fuel rail would make u faster the throttle response parts to change sorry but i dont think this guys a dumb *** hopefully he would know to get tuned and what parts do what ,
