I live in Cali where its really hot so will a CAI really be any differant than a SAI? And i wanted everyones opinion INJENSAI or AEM SAI?(not the v2)

 

Welcom, PornStar! I have an 03 EX too, and LOVE it! Enjoy, and I would go with AEM. GReddy EVO2 for exhaust.

 

The cold air intake will still receive fresher air from under the car, instead of inside close to the engine.
And civics are designed to rev high, but if you like to baby your car thats fine (it will last you longer that way)

 

I'd get a good a good alarm with a fuel/ignition cutoff before putting any money into mods.

The EX typically has more goodies like AC, cruise, sunroof, PW, and PL. It also has VTEC and often different gear ratios in the tranny.

After the alarm and intake, you will probably notice the best performance improvement by replacing the stock tires/rims with something more performance oriented and improving the suspension. Strut tower/tie bars, unibody braces,and anti-swaybars can improve handling dramatically without affecting ride too harshly. Your Civic will corner like it's on rails.

 

Thanks alot guys. You really helped. I think i'll go for the AEM SAI or CAI then. We'll see how cheap i can get that CAI and decide then. I don't have the ignition kill on it but i do have lowjack so thats a plus.
