I am looking at a car right now with a dealer and it is a black 2004 Honda Civic LX with 21K miles in great condition and Honda Certified with 3 years left on the warranty and 1 year of bumper to bumper. I have it down to $9,994, is that a good price? Reading these forums, you guys know a whole lot more than me. To me it seems like a great deal with the blue book saying $16,000 but I am not sure if anyone uses that price. What do you guys think, is this a deal to act on?

that is a good price i got my 03 civic lx 60,000 miles no waranty for 12k but if you plan on modding this car ex. putting in performance parts or things like this than the 04 lx is not for you the engine d17a1 barely has any aftermarket support but overall i like it and it gets amazing gas milage

 

Thank a lot for the feedback. Actually I am pretty happy just to havea reliable car, my old Ford was really falling apart. I am happy to get a Honda which was my first car back in the day and that one had like 250,000 miles and I never had problems. To me the price looks good, I wanted to get feedback from you guys before I stepped into such a large investment.

The good thing is that you said you can mod the 2003. Have youdone anything to it yet?What kind of stuff can be done?

 

whoops i meant to say not easy for engine parts the only things made for the d17a1 the engine for that civic barely has aftermarket support just like intake exhaust not even header but its really an economy car

 

I was just browsing your gallary, nice car. Looks like you have a great sound system too. It's cool you have a garage, easy to do maintaince stuff and to protect it, I have street parking only.

 

ya we have a garage but i never get to use it my dads lexus sc430 kicks my civic out hahaa but i just work in the drive way i love that the neighbors get soo angry when im thumping soooo hard
