91 motor?

what motor orignaly came in the the 1991 honda civic hatch. and was it fuel injected

If it's a DX, should have D15B2 1.5 liter 16 valve non-VTEC with DPFI (throttle body fuel injection) system.

ok thats what i thought. but my car has a d 15b8 1.5 liter and its not running right. its really jerky in all gears.

That is the 8 valve engine, used in the lowest model. It's a real dog even when it works right. If your engine jerks and misfires primarily when you step on the gas, that usually means the sparks are weak. Start with a routine tune up where you'd replace the plugs, spark wires, distributor cap and rotor.
