95 Civic fuel needle problem
Ok back with another problem with my Instrument Cluster Fuel needle. I fixed all the wiring (I think) and purchased a new Instrument Cluster to replace the old one i broke. The problem is that the needle was stuck on FULL when it should have been HALF.
I drove the car for a few miles then turned off the engine and left it off for awhile. When I started it up again I saw the Fuel Needled go down to where it should be and drove off, after about 5 miles and went back and stuck on FULL. This happen 3 times today.
At first I thought it could be that my FLOAT was sticking in my gas tank but never did that in my old Instrument Cluster. Does anyone know what could cause my Fuel Needle to act this way?

I'd agree it's probably the gauge itself, since your old one worked OK.
If the wire back to the tank shorts to ground, the gauge will go all the way to full. You could rule out the tank by unplugging the sender at the tank. That should cause the gauge to read empty all the time.
