97 Civic
Does anybody know how i can get more power for my civic. I have a 97 Civic Ex Non-Vtech (not by chose). My civic is to slow and i don't have enough money to get a new one so if some one can help me find a way to get more power that would be great.

whoa! Julitos right, it doesn't have a V-Tech but if the engine hasn't been swapped it should have a V-Tec. I'm pretty sure all EXs come with them, maybe Julito should check the engine code and let us know if it's been swapped. When I bought my 98 EX the dealership said it wasn't a V-Tec but i think they just said that cause it didn't say V-Tec on the top of the engine, I checked it out and it turns out it is... if you don't wanna check the code just go out and floor it and wait for it to kick in.
P.S. Just to let you know Julito people don't take kind to the word V-Tech... I think that's a cordless phone. In the future V-Tec is what your meaning.

please julito, your killing us here, it's V-Tec not V-Tech, as previously stated V-Tech = a phone that sucks big *****, best thing you can do is get a good intake, a 4-2-1 header, and exhaust, that'll prolly give you enough power to get up to freeway speeds faster. The code will be on the drivers side of the engine, look for D16Y8, thats a V-Tec... but if you see a key pad and a button to change the volume thats a V-Tech... those suck... big *****
