98 Civic LX
What do you guys think about this car? This guy is selling it for 5 grand so I think I might go for it. 126K, green, power lock/window/mirror, AT, CD, alarm. Haven't look at it yet but hopefully it'll be good. Any owners here with opinions?

RE: 98 Civic LX
5 grand is way too much for a car with more than 126,000 miles.
If you've got $5000 to spend, spend it on a car with 70k or less. Only buy a car with more than 100k if it's going to be a project car and you plan on replacing most of its parts anyway. And if it is a project car, only pay $1500 or so for it.

Price does seem a little high. I bougt my 97 EX Sedan last year with 80,000 miles for $5500 from a dealership.
I've never had a Honda before and didn't know anything about the different models but I am really glad I got the EX. Much better than the DX & LX.
I would look for an EX.
