Default 98 EX Lowering... Need help

I am about to purchase the Eibach Pro set and was curious if I need to change out the stock shocks while I am doing this as necessity or can they be changed later... on a small budget so adding shocks to the list would cause me to have to wait longer...

No experience with those springs, or swapping out suspension on a Civic, but have done a few swaps on other vehicles.

That said, the higher spring rate of the Eibachs will blow your stock shocks in no time, do it once, and do it right, springs/shocks at the same time. You'll save yourself from having to do it twice, have ****ty ride, and put unneeded wear and tear on other items.

You should be able to find the info you need in one of the stickies at the top of the suspension section (here and here). I'm sure other people will have some good input though.

koni yellows are among the best. I just ordered my new setup yesterday. Koni yellows and ground control coilovers. Lots of adjustability and you can still have a nice ride. Not the cheapest option but in the long run it will be the best. Cost for the whole set up is around $800.

The stock shocks will blow out quickly. I'd give it a couple weeks before you're bouncing over every crack in the ground.
