for the win = ftw

do not cheap out on suspension either. don't go run to ebay and get the 50 dollar lowering springs. make sure you get something that is repuable. i know eibach, neuspeed and tein are pretty good companies for suspension.

yea i got my exhaust tip on my car from ebay and no more than 2 months later it was making a rattling noise...the majority of the time the cheaper the price the cheaper the quality

Yeah, don't cheap out on components. That doesn't mean you have to pay $9,000 for an Armani strutbar though.

Compare different features before you buy. Especially look out for compatibility issues. This can be especially true when it comes to finding a 3-pt upper front strutbar that doesn't interfere with the intake you want.

For the record, I got a used OEM hood off of Ebay that matched my Civic's paint perfectly. It looked almost new, fit perfect, and cost me $25. I also got some flawless Revolver shackles for my Jeep YJ at just $50, and some NIB 6" Warn TJ flares for $120/shipped.

Then there was the sparetire carrier that looked fine but was bent, and the half-doors that didn't fit/latch quite right. Shop carefully, and weigh/leave pertinent feedback.
