Default AC Issue

So last week I finally fixed the AC in my 92 Civic LX, it stopped working again yesterday. My question is, is there a way to jump my compressor to see if it's working? It's not coming on with the button. My old toyota pickup has a way to jump the compressor for when you charge it, does the Honda have one?

Ok, after filling the system up again, the leak is fairly obvious. It's leaking at the relief valve on the back of the compressor, why would this have blown? I originally had if filled at a shop with all the proper tools for filling AC. Is the relief valve reusable? or after it blows does it need to be replaced? Thanks

Sometimes adding too much freon can blow out the relief valve. I suggest that you replace it since it is not very expensive.
