Advice?
Can anyone give me some good places to start looking at turbos and turbo kits????
If I want my car to be pushin over 300hp should I plan on rebuiling the engine? I have a D16 and I have seen turboed d16 pushin well over 300 horsies. Thanks for the info.

hahaha, ok, try greddy, hks, edelbrock, there are a few others. But seriously, do not turbo a car if you even considered not building the engine, that should be a give me. You need to do research

well i knew of the basics like greddy, but the others are helpfull. Thanks for the info. Oh and you dont think that a b16b engine could take a lower profile turbo without haveting to rebuild the engine?

RE: Advice?
I do have a D16 right now but what I am doing is not even touching the engine cause for one I dont have money for it and for 2 it has a great running engien that will last me a while. So I am slowly working on my body and everything else until the engine goes out and then once it does I am going to throw in a B16b type R motor. I found a place that can get me everthing needed for the swap including the transmission ect. for about 4500, is that a good price? I thought so. Once I do that then I want to throw a turbo on it and make it semi quick. So do you think that I could throw a low profile turbo engine in it boosting my horsies to hopefully 250-275ish without haveting to mess too much with the engine and it will still run good, be reliable, and last long?
