my paint code SAYS
Flamenco Black Pearl Metallic Clearcoat NH-592P 98-00

BUT i noticed a few weeks ago that my front clip ..... at least fenders and hood, bumper have been replaced or repainted...........
due to no vin numbers on them and the paint has a cool looken blue metalic flake in it......

i love the way that black looks when the light hits it just right to give that blue sparkle!
im curious.... is that a civic paint code that some shop mistaken or could it just have been a CHEAP shop that used what they had left over from another job that looked close to the stock black...

i just dont know..... cause i know the doors, rear bumper and posibly the drivers rear quarter has all been repainted as well...

BUT at least it looks preaty good....... other than a few spots in the paint or paint on the rubber just alittle bit... and different color on the front clip.
my rear is just a solid black from what i see.....


just wondering if you could check your paint code and describe your paint....

 

On my exwife's Accord, the black has blue metalflake in the paint. It really shows up when the paint is clean and the sun hits just right.

 

do ya know what the paint code for it was?

here is a link to the color of my front end.... at the right angle the blue just glimers in the sun i realy like the blue flake in thier! if i have to id like to shoot the car car that color next year.... since the color is so close i wouldnt have to paint any door jams or anything

My paint is NH-502 if I remember well... It's for a 92 civic btw
Edit: Also, it's not exactly black. It's black, but with glimmers of red noticeable only in the sun.
Edit2: The code is not NH-502, it's NH-526M. And the name is just "Black"

 

I have a 99 si wiht Flamenco black also. But youre right the new paint on yours looks awesome.

 

well it looks great BUT its only the front clip painted that color

i never realy noticed it till i looked REALY CLOSE after washing/waxing it a few weeks ago.... and after even more close inspection i notice the rest of the car looks straight black.


kinda sucks..... but no one else knows by just looken at it... cause it only glimmers blue flake when its real clean and in the sun at the right angle.

but i love it! if i can figure out what paint it is called ill be painting the whole thing next year to match!

we have a nighthawk black honda van (i know the name but cant spell it) but it definitley has the blue specks you speak of. wouldnt be surprised if it was the same.
