i have a canadian civic, it had no crappy molding like the us civics, and if thats your ride in your sig, i dont see molding on it either. Thats the only reason i said that, if some other canadian models do have it, i did not know, i could only go by my car

It's all a japanese conspiracy. By depriving one nation of moldings and giving moldings to its neighbour they hope to create hostility between the two nations and at the right moment they'll jump in and take over north america!! That or the company was just trying to cut costs or something.

to my knowlege, all Canadian Hondas come with those rub strips. Some were painted body color, some were the "black chrome" variety. The only Honda's I've seen without rubstrips are the ones where they have been taken off, or fallen off due to rust. I could be wrong, though....does anyone else know anything about this topic??

For anyone still discussing the plastic strips on the sids of the car, i can say that in Canada at least there are some with them and some without... there is a EG Cx i park next to at work al the time, and it has them. mine doesn't... i can't vouche for the US ones... but the Canadian ones do and don't... i guess it was an option

Well, regardless if its american or canadian, most of our civics came from canada anyway.
