Hi guys...my Dad has a 1996 Civic I am going to sell for him...its automatic, no options...mileage is 215,000 miles...

It drives fine, well maintained (no receipts), sometimes a rattle in the back which you can faintly hear. Front end and back done in August 2007, $1200 bill for that, belt changed last year...bit of rust on rear wheel well, like many Hondas...

But the thing is that I cant find a value for it, mileages dont go up that high in the guides...

Is $2000 good ? $1500 ?...I keep thinking that if someone spent another $1,000 or so they could geta car with much less km...then again the car runs fine now, needs nothing and could probably run up another 100,000 miles...

(Closest thing in autotrader is a 96 hatch w/5spd 140k miles, asking $2600...)

What would you pay for it ?

That site lists average $3500 USD private sale...

I just bought a mint 2001 EX coupe with lower mileage for less than that, so I dont think anyone would pay $3500 for a 1996 with no options...hence the reason for my post...
