EDIT: i guess there is a d16y9[sm=headbang.gif]

i guess it's a euro engine. sohc vtec. probably the same as a d16y8??

no, i have a D16y9, i went to take it for an oil change, and on the paper it said
Engine Type : 4Cyl, D16y9
and it says that on my engine also
i have a 1996 Civic DX
but iduno

on the engine block says D16y9, i duno if its a euro car, but i bought it in akron, ohio from some junkie, been trying to look for the info, but i cant find none...
