Well, you can lower it with your 18's, but there's a good chance it'll rub pretty badly. I'd say if you're going to lower it no matter what, lower it with the 18's. If you have rubbing issues (which you probably will), sell the 18's and get smaller wheels (*cough* 16's *cough*) with the money.

ok so im guessing that I shold go with a coilover set up then so i can adjust it, just in case the rubbing is really bad, anything else that I should change in the suspension setup?

not really you should be good...you might wanna change your struts if you have the money cause it IS a bit harder of a ride but not too bad though...im fine with mine how it is but i might be forgetting something so if anyone else wants to put their .02 in.

alright thanks, would you happen to know when I shift into a higher gear it feels like my car is getting really slugesh, its a 95 vtec and when the vtec should be engaging its feels like its not putting out enough power..What can it be? Ive just gotten a major tune up(fuel injector cleaned, fuel lines were cleaned, new spark plugs, disturbuter, disturbuter wires, oil changed and oil filter replaced) what can it be, could it have something to do with my Vtec solenoid ?

18 foot rims!!! I've never seen ones that big...haha just giving you a hard time...the sluggishness is probably due to overall longer gearing from the larger wheels.
