Default Appeal question: 99 Honda Civic DX

Just a general question for the forum members here. I have a 99 Honda Civic DX and over the past few years I have been randomly approached in parking lots by probably 5 people offering to buy my car. It isn't modified in the slightest -just the normal model. Am I missing something regarding the value or appeal of this car? I mean, I love my little Honda but the completely unsolicited offers to buy it are just really bizarre to me.

99-00 civic's are 1 of the most desirable cars....and most stolen cars in the U.S.

And because your car is a virgin, its worth more.

Agreed. Fuel efficient, unmodified, popular with the tuner crowd. Even with it being a base model, it's desirable.
