My girlfriend is turning 16 soon., and shes ready to buy a car, were looking at civics, of course. I have a manual civic..so Ive never driven an auto one, and she can not drive stick, nor does she want to learn, so Im just wondering are auto civics nice also? I mean...does anywhere here have an opinion on the automatic civics?


BTW, here is the one we are going to look at

 

They are still hondas so they are very reliable and gas saving. They just dont perform very good if trying to race.

 

i'd take an auto civic. There have been auto Civics that have been succussfully modified (Pete's boosted auto D for example). But even if she isn't going to modifiy it, its still really reliable and crazy good on gas, i say get it for sure.

 

My first car was a brand new pathfinder. During senior year, i wanted to drive it off a cliff, gas prices were so high. You can't go wrong witha civic.

I drive an auto too.. they have thier good points.

 

honestly if ureally like or love ur girl u would force her to drive stick! there is nothing hotter than a girl that drives stick and a civic. seeing a girl red lining a car is soo dam hot. i learned to drive on an automatic and finally my 3rd car was a stick and i can honestly say that as long as i live i will never drive a automatic again! but if she doesnt want to learn then is sux for her
