Hey there...i been doing some research about the engine swapped in my car, because its a b16a5? I hear that there is no such thing and that there are rumors about it being a russion version? Does anyone know what car this engine originated in or what year it was? Thanks

 

Does it actually say "B16A5" or is it a B16A followed by a serial number beginning with "5"?

well, they have a little different power ratings, different compression ratios, different transmissions, and different electronics, but in their most basic form, they are all really close.
