Default b18 crx swap

hey guys. i have a thread on here about swapping out the all wheel drive from an 88 civic wagon into my crx, and have had a lot of help. my new question is this. if i do the all wheel swap will the awd tranny bolt to a b181s engine. more power, more torque, and more traction would be optimal.

no, that's not what he's asking

he wants to put a new engine on his tranny. it's an AWD tranny and it's from a D-series, so the only engines he can swap are D-series.

Default b18 crx swap

thanks guys, i did not think it would, but i had the opportunity to buy a fresh rebuild with upgraded skunk2 cams for 650$ with wiring and ecu. i have a d16a6 that came with the car. i will probable rebuild and upgrade that engine, turbo it and go with that, plus maybe the d16z6 head. thanks a bunch
