Default Best 270-Degree Awning for Overland Setup?

Hey everyone,

I'm in the market for an awning to complete my overland rig and looking for recommendations. I’d like something durable, easy to set up solo, and capable of handling moderate wind and rain. I’ve been leaning toward a 270 degree awning for the extended coverage it offers around the vehicle.

This will mainly be used for weekend camping trips and the occasional longer expedition. Budget is flexible if the quality is worth it. Any real-world experiences with brands like Alu-Cab, Rhino-Rack, or OVS? Is freestanding worth it, or should I go with support poles?

Alu-Cab is renowned for its very sturdy awnings, often self-supporting thanks to sturdy articulated arms. They're a little heavier, but very durable and quick to set up, which is a real plus if you often travel alone.
