Default ..:: The Biggest Noob Question Ever ::..

What is the difference between;

EG, CX, DX, LS, EX, etc?

I have a special edition 1996 Civic Hatch.
I'm wondering what it is, or most likely is.
I'm thinking this is based on engine type/size?
I don't remember what my stock was because it didn't come with one, the guy gave me a K20a3 with it.

Thanks for putting up with my stupidity, I'm just new to all this.

they are different trims that have different accessorries and whatnot. SI is the best, usually with a much better engine, some sporty looks and nice accessorries. EX is next, sometimes the EX has VTEC and all the other models (other htan SI) don't. Usually a sun roof, power locks, A/C (although thats available on some other models too). The other (DX/HX/LX/CX) are the lowest trim, usually wiht manual windows and locks, a less powerful engine, and usually no VTEC. It differs, and i dont know specifics too much, but thats the general idea.

what wait does the title say the car is?
or just run a CARFAX report on your car.... if it doesnt have a sunroof or power options that it is probably a low model salvage car with a front end swap, motor swap. not a definate but its typicaly why the front end swap has been done along with a motorswap as well.

post some more pics
