If you're trying to sell the car, save yourself a LOT of headaches and swap another lx motor into it. No one wants a car with a "stock swap"

I don't care about putting a k in it and I can't find an lx motor for as cheap as the ex one I found. As cheap as I'm selling this car, I don't thnk the "stock swap" is going to bother anyone.

but in your case.... to most people who don't know anything about hondas, swapping in an older gen engine seems more like a downgrade lol[&:] and especially that it is illegal in most states.

"most states"? As far as I know California is the only one with rules that strict. I could very well be wrong though.

At any rate, thats besides the point. What I was trying to say is that if you've got the same type of motor that came in the car, it's easier to pass off as "stock." Where as if theres something completely different in there, you've got to try and explain to your buyers why youhad to swapit in the first, and that is not usually an easy thing for them to grasp

Tony, just fiy in PA your car would have been illegal and would have never been able to pass emissions
