I have a silver 2000 civic and i was wondering if anybody had any good ideas on a body kit to purchase?

I dont like the boxy body kits, so i want some a little rounded that just looks sporty and sweet, i am on a low budget also,
so if you have an idea on a sweet kit or just a good website that is cheap and would have a lot LMK... thanks guys...


ps.( newbie question ) does the trim level matter when buying the body kit? ex: Ex DX Si...

 

well the trim level matters as far as 2 dr, 4 dr, and hatch (in general).

I've got teh Drift front bumped, Spyder sides and Buddy Club 2 Rear. You can look at my photo gallery to see some pics. Its fibgerglass and if you're on a tight budget, you're not gonna find any kits for under like $800-$900 that are of good quality. I got a sh*tty ebay fiberglass kit that was $360, and i put ALOT ALOT of work into and made it look good, but fitment could have been better, so it depends on what u wanna do. This is PERFECT example of "You get what you pay for".

 

i like the regular buddy club body kit. polyurethane is the only thing id have too. as long as its for a 2000 civic 2 dr. coupe, shouldnt matter.

 

The fronts of a 96-98 are the same, and the fronts from the 99-00 are the same, and also the sides and rear from a 96-00 are all the same

 

lip kit ftw!

i've always felt "body kits" look ricetastic personally

lip kits are a nice subtle addition that a true enthusiast will recognize

 

if you are on a budget go with lip kit all around

 

i purchased a urethene body kit from erebunicorp.com their a little pricey but they have quality stuff, i got a deal cause i have aconnect who works their, but yea lips r nice but their 2 common and 2 simple in my opinion but thats just me anyway good luck

 

Lip kits FTW!!... IMO they are the everyday look, and they don't screem LOOK AT ME!!!! like body kits do

 

thats the idea u want something that stands out that states "look at me" , its different from a common lip kit but hey, if eveyrday look is what he wants than go lip kit

 

^ yeah but with "look at me", it also includes Hey i know that car from "insert soemthing here" and when that happens, that means cops can keep an eye out for ya if you do a bunch of crazy ****.
