I just want to hear some feedback from around here.
I have a 2000 ex coupe. I know the motor isnt desined to make any serious power, but I wanna try. Has anyone in here boosted a stock D16 vtec? if you have what kind of gains did you get. I also want to know how far you have gone(boost) without blowing it up. i hear 8 pounds max before problems set in. let me know. I wanna hear some feedback.

 

Its not about how many lbs of boost you make, its about how much power you make. The stock D16z6 and y8 can handle 200 whp. Some applications that takes 10PSI, and others it only takes 7. Im runnin 8psi on a stock D16Z6 with a greddy basetune.

 

u sure about the 200 whp? Thats quite a jump from the stock 127 crank hp. What kind of power are you making?

 

im positive about the 200whp. Idk what power im makin......maybe 180 to the crank. Go to www.turbod16.com and ull learn so much
