i was changing my pads and the front calipers are in bad condition so i was going to just buy new ones but befor i do that are their and brake swaps people are doing and how much would it be do do it? thanks

 

you pushing serious ponies? because if your not, then just replace the stockies its all youll need

 

You can rebuild the calipers which might be cheaper than buying a new caliper. I don't think its too hard. You have to remove the piston and change all the seals. Clean out the piston and the rest of the caliper.

a set of oem replacements and ceramic hawk pads will work wonders.

 

you can buy kits with seals etc to re-condition the callipers quite cheaply.... do that. Also sand the surface rust off and spray it with a protective calliperpaint

 

how much r the kits cuz i looked on ebay and found used calipers for 30 duckets

 

What's wrong with your calipers? Are they rebuildable? I would not mess with ebay used calipers. I bought rebuilt and guaranteed stock ones for about $75 each. They also came with new hardware like the pins, bolts and sliders. I agree with the others that stock Civic brakes are pretty good as they are.

 

on the right side its missing the rubber thing and the piston is bent its hard o explain but unless i get a new piston then its no point

 

Check autozone. Alot of thier parts come with a lifetime warranty.
