Default can sum1 help me please .. quick question

Hi i just baught a used 2000 Honda Civic Si and i had a couple questions.
1- I did some research and found that the 2000 honda civic si comes standard with a 1.6L V-tech engine @ 160 hp, i looked under tha hood of my car and the engine just says "HONDA" on it no "V-Tech" and my friend said its not a V-Tech engine, its only a "V-Tech" engine if it says "V-Tech" on it , is this true?
2-I was wondering what i have to do to turbo charge my civic? exhaust manifolds, air intake and change the ECU is that all i need to do to add a turbo charger ??

thank you all for your help

1- post a pic of your engine please. Do you know if its a B16?
2- you'll need a lot more than that to turbo your civic. Here is everything you need. https://www.hondacivicforum.com/m_19.../tm.htm#196090

3- its V-tec not V-tech

I think the concern here is whether or not it's the original engine. The stock Si engine for that year would read "DOHC (below) VTEC" on the valve cover, so why doesn't his? Perhaps an aftermarket valvecover thrown on. The engine code I guess is the only for sure way to find out. Hey man, you know the history if this car? Salvage title, number of owners, etc? Good luck.

is your car canadian? if so, your engine may vary

the canadian Si is the same as the US EX (1.6 SOHC VTEC that does not say VTEC on the valve cover)
