You know, I go to about one or two car shows a year, and I must say, car show people are really a breed of there own. They walk a fine line between being obsessive compulsive, delusional and having the brain of a 5 year old. You know... showing up at 7:00 am when the show starts at 9:00, polishing there cars until there hands blister, why didn’t I get an award, my car is better than your car. Then they do it all again in week.

I particularly like the ones that show up in there car show uniforms, you know the car show shirt, maybe it has there car airbrushed on it (and used to be white), or the shirt and pants that match the color of there car, wearing the Goodyear sneakers and maybe the official Ford watch.

How about the people who are stuck in a time warp and look like they just stepped off of the stage of Grease? I think those people fit the bill for the definition below.

Another laugh, the guy that tries to squeeze out every inch of horse power, made the car as light as he can yet weighs 350 lbs. Really fat guy.. Maybe if you didn’t eat breakfast you’ll loose 2 tenths in the quarter.

Does every SBC have 500 hp?
Since when is Lancaster’s track ¼ mile?
Can every show car pull there front tires a foot off the pavement?
Why do some cars smell like mothballs?
If my car is red is it ok to sit in a green chair?
If I get to the show after the flyer says I should get to the show should I bitch a lot or a little?
If somebody gets an award and I don’t think that they should have got an award does that mean that the judges suck and that the person receiving the award is in there club or maybe in the same Mason lodge or something?
If I am driving down the road and see a kid riding a bike on the sidewalk. Should I stop pull over and put the car cover on until I can’t see him any more.
Is it ok to date my sister if we are just going to the 103.3 cruse night?
Can she smoke if she is pregnant at the 103.3 cruse night?
If it rains do I get my money back?
WTF is a ¾ race cam, and if you were building an engine today why would you use any camshaft designed in the 60’s or 70’s, other than you want it to be an inefficient pig?
If I sit hear and polish my chrome bumper for two hours it will it be shinier than polishing it for one hour?
