The simple fact is that if someone wants your car they are gonna get it.
You can only do things to help keep you off their 'radar'

id say if you can in your area see if LOJACK is available.....
not sure about other GPS tracking things but if you can find out good let me know

lojack is not available in my state yet.

Decent alarm, good insurance, LoJack, don't leave anything of value inside the car, locking lugs, park in well-lit areas when out, park in a gated yard or attached garage with an alert dog when home.

gated lots dont help anything.LOL they just wait for someone else to pull up and they pull right in behind them and get in. hell my brothers old gated lot well you just had to push the gate over 1ft and it opened all the way.LOL
