Civic 95 coupe selling price question
Hey all So my poor civic's transmission decided to go kablooey so I've decided that I am going to try and sell it...thing is, I have no idea of how much to sell it for. Obviously it's not running, so I know I can't really go by KBB prices...thought I'd pick your brains since you all seem to know a lot more about my car than I do...
here's some info about my car:
95 civic EX 2 door
about 175 k mileage
transmission not working (duh)
radiator leaks (mechanic just told me..sigh)
radio gone (stolen 2 months ago )
needs new paint (trunk and hood are kinda dull and splotchy)
body in great condition (no dents, scrapes)
so it's seen better days definitely...lol...I know I won't get much for it, but I was just wondering a ball park figure I guess. any help/advice is much appreciated! thanks all

ya with it not driving that hurts cost ALOT!!!!!
IMO i would go to your local junk yards and search for a cheap replacement tranny. but with the milage on the vehicle it might not even be worth the hassle.
id say about 500-800 depending on the condition of the body and interior of course! rust around the wheel arches will hurt it alot! and so will a destroyed interior!

Hi everyone! thanks so much for your responses! yeah I was thinking it would be somewhere around the $500-$800 range...but you guys definitely confirmed it. a replacement tranny + labor will probably be more than the car is worth...i'll most likely be putting her up on craigslist!
thanks again for all your help...you guys are awesome
