civic chokin

Default civiccccccc chokinnnnnnnnnnnnn

ok so here is the deal my 98 civic chokes at 2.000 rpm and jusst at 2.000
i cant drive slow then it kinda chokes like if was not takin air or something
n1 knows what could b? thx

Start by checking the condition of your plugs, cap, and rotor. If worn or corroded, replace them.

Also check the ignition timing and consider replacing the fuel filter.

Is the CEL ON?

yup the check engine is on i didint have a catalyst
then i got one aftermarket and the o2 sensor and the light still on
and what plugs caps and rotor? im new here lol thx

Pull the code using the instructions in RonJ's signature.
Then reset the ECU by removing the back-up fuse from the under-the-hood fuse box for 5 minutes. Put it back in, start the car, and don't touch the gas for 5 minutes. After that, you're good to go. See if the code comes back. If the CEL was only caused by not having a cat, it shouldn't come back. If the ECU detects a different problem, it will come back on eventually.

you really need to check spark plugs that could be it

any other symptoms? it could be a million things with those problems.
