i have a pair of del sol seats that i want to put into my 90 civic hatchback. Am I able to swap the brackets or do i have to cut and weld a new end on the del sol brackets?

 

you can do a pan swap, i never done it, but have seen it done.

a pan swap is where you swap the seat pans and brackets off each seat so you have del sol seats with 90 civic brackets and everything bolts up fine and SAFE
