Default Civic SI auto??

Do they make a Civic SI auto? like in the 96-00 model? If so why not? They make Honda Prelude SI's in automatics... I never thought that they did until I saw a red prelude SI auto... and thought that maybe I was mistaken....

Civic si are all stick. At least the 99-06. I am unsure of the old si's because tho's were like not really as big of a difference as now. Anyways a civic si is the type of car that is only meant to be driven with a manual.

I believe it is the 2001-2005 Si's that do not have a atuo option. However, the 96-00's are pretty rare from what i've heard

So, does that mean that I could put a si emblem on mind and say it's from Canada?

IMO all civic's should have had an option for auto or man.

Well, they didn't make an Si from 96-98, they started in 99.

But ok, I have a deal for you... you buy an Si and a D series auto tranny, and I'll trade you engines. Then you can bolt on the auto tranny have an auto Si.
