So I was talking to this guy today and he recently bought a Civic sedan (not Si). So I asked him why he didn't buy the Si. He is like if you get the Si Sedan in automatic, its has the exact same motor/trans as a regular civic, just comes with the spoiler, moon roof and other options. I'm immediatly call BS since I am positive that the Si Sedan does not come in automatic but he claims that when he went to a dealership and negotiated with the salesman for said Civic Si w/auto trans. I went on the Honda website and tried to build a Civic Si with an auto trans and couldn't. I have every intention to rip this guy a new one next time I see him for saying I don't know anything about civics. Does any1 know if you can in fact get and Si Sedan with auto w/o the K series motor? I will most likely call up to dealer to confirm.

its not an si if its just got the badge and a moonroof. its gotta have the k20 and im pretty sure (but not positive) that they dont come automatic

 

I dont think honda even bothers to make an automatic for si's. Ask him for more info about it. i cant find anything on that either

 

no if it is a si it has to be manual

 

my friend bought an si and his wife ask the salesman if they do come in auto dude said just in manual only
