In you guys honest opinion what should be faster stock for stock, a 99/00 civic si or an 02 rsx base model. They both come with 160hp i think, excpet ones a b16 the others a k20. Which one is easier to modify if i wanted to go the N/A route? Is one more expensice to modify than the other?? thansk a ton.

 

My guess is that the civic should be faster stock because it weighs less, but the easies engine to modify NA would be the k20 because its bigger.

 

k20 has more tq. so k20

 

its a drivers race..both run mid to high 15's stock.

 

Even though the RSX had a little more tq the 99-00 will take it in the long run.
The N/A route, i would go with the RSX because the K series is just a better motor
all around.

 

What kind of motor is a K20? and what does NA mean?
I'm sorry for the questions.. its just I don't know..

and N/A is Naturally Aspirated, as in no Turbocharger/Supercharger, it also includes Nitrous i think but i'm not sure.
