Default Civic: up to Integra's reliablity?

Just curious how the Civic will hold up compared to my Integra. I'm noticing a lot of the dials/equipment/furnishings in my Civic are just low quality cheesy compared to the high build quality of an Integra. Can I expect as many good years with little to no maintenance from my Civic, or is this budget car going to bite me in the *** at 100K? [&:]

it depends if u took care of the car (ex. regular oil changes, etc.) but most hondas will last about 200k

Try about 300k - 400k.

its damn near the same car, just not quite as nice interior bits and such. its more the fit and finish of the honda that is lacking over the Acura, not the actual quality of it as a car.

Pretty much... actually, exactly much (if thats a correct phrase) an Acura is nothing but an overglorified Honda with a nice Honda engine. Thats why you see alot of die-hard Acura owners sport a Honda logo on their car.

Acura is Hondas luxury division, plain and simple. Acura doesn't even exist in Japan. The same engines power both cars. BTW, for as much as I abuse my car, I've never had any complaints.

I agree. I know someone with an Acura 1.7L and compared it to my Civic. It just looked like there were a few cosmetic changes and the body looks a little different, but looked like the same chassis. They both have exactly the same engine, and I didn't think the fit and finish of the Acura was any better than my Civic.

BTW, they both have an "H" for an emblem, it's just that the Civic's "H" is squeezed a bit on the bottom, and the Acura's "H" is squeezed a lot on the top (supposed to look like an "A", but it's actually an "H" in disguise.)
