Q:1 I have A '91 Honda Civic Si and an '88 CRX Si. They both need minor work and they are both primered. The bodies are strait. They Civic has a D16Y8 in it and the CRX has the original Si motor. I need to get rid of one but I'm confused on which one I'd like to keep. Any, suggestions?

Q:2 Does any one know where to get any cheap B series motors for cheap (preferably VTEC)? Or should I stick to building the D16Y8 since I'm working with such light cars?

 

Thats a hard choice, but ill say keep the crx because they are so light. And no usually b series engines cost a little mmore, but they are worth it.

 

I'd keep the CRX also. As cyberx32 said they're lighter, which is one of my reasons. Also i've always kinda wanted a CRX for myself because I think they look cool.

 

I've always wanted a CRX. Sick little cars.

 

CRXs are way cooler, but it's up to you really. Mine's fun even with just the stock motor and some stiffer suspension.

I was thinking keep the CRX also. I like the JDM conversion I might just do that. Maybe I'll keep both, I don't know.
