Default CIVIC VTI BI6A NEW TO ALL OF THIS!!! U.K.

Hi, just found this web site have bought a Civic 1.6 VTEC DOHC B16A 123000 miles no sevice history, seems to go O.K. I am new to getting my hands dirty. I normally buy a cheap second car for work and back each year and then ditch it, but this one is really fun to drive and am thinking about looking after it, the chap I bought it off said the waterpump was replaced at 120000 miles and he checked the timing belt and said that it was allright for a couple of years?. Stainless steel radiator fitted as well..Have done 300+ miles. Starts first time and goes like hell. Front right brake squeels, back discs are rusty dont get hot?, rear left wheel groans, body work has been got to grips by some boy racer in the past, oil is clear to look at and engine temp runs ok takes a while to warm up, no radio, no rear parcel shelf, seats are uncomfy strange retro cloth type...car cost £250 with 6 months MOT, has some bits in the boot KN airinduct kit in box?, old some type of electric chip paper says 9000 rpm upgrade? Seeing as the insurance is group 16 should I just run it to the ground and do nothing and have some funor spend some money on it? any thought please?
