I have an '07 Civic Si sedan with the stock exhaust pipe on it. Obviously when your car is brand new, the pipe is squeaky clean, but after having the car for a year already, it's getting pretty grungy and I need some tips on what to use to clean it. Is there a good (but inexpensive) product on the market that I can get at AutoZone or something that will wipe this bad boy clean enough to see myreflection in it again? Thanks!!!

 

ya alittle car wash soap and a towel..... then some fine rubbing compound and another towel and just buff it up. should shine right up, tho i wouldnt wipe off the insides, it will just dirt up next time ya start the car.
pretty easy.

 

yea i use this eagle one chrome polish. only spend $6its like a paste you put on and leave for 10 sec. and buff it right off and it comes out really good and also it says it prevents rust but dont know

 

I guess I'm skeptical on buying stuff like that because i bought this bug remover stuff from AutoZone and it doesn't do a damn thing. If anyone has recommendations on that stuff too then let me know...HAHA

 

I use the "Blue Magic " Liquid Metal Polish (also sold in compound). It's good and safe for Chrome, Aluminum, Stainless Steel, etc and removes oxidation & tarnish.
I used this stuff on my Stainless Steel Exhaust and wheels..Great stuff. Highly Recommended.

Really easy to use. I use the blue shop towel sold at auto-zone, walmart, etc.
Apply a light thincoat with towel to the surface you want to clean. Let it haze. With clean side wipe some off. With another shop towel remove all you can and it will buff out nicely. You will love this product Bro

 

ya it will clean right off. theres only road grim on the tip. clean it up will be quick and easy...
