oh yea, get this...
earlier when i was working on my car i walked into the garage, grabbed a utility knife, turned around and it was suddenly pouring down rain from nowhere. (this all happened in a matter of about 5 seconds)
It sprinkled for another 3 minutes and then I looked up and the sky was completely clear.
stupid FL weather

oh and when i got that old hose off i chucked it pretty far. Had to unleash my frustration without actually breaking something. lol

I understand both the mysteriously random rain storms and the Olympic hose heave.

Of course, otherwise you'd be guilty of littering and banished from the neighborhood.

While the Bay Area may be cool in the morning at this time of year, my guess would that central Florida is not. Please correct me if I am wrong Trust.

yea i was just about to say that too
lol
it doesn't even begin to look like it's getting cold usually until early-december

and i've been to San Fran in both the summer and winter and it was pretty much the same exact temperature each time... i thought the temperature there stayed pretty consistent, so idk how it would be just now getting cold this time of year when it's pretty much always chilly outside

but then again i don't live there, so i could always be wrong

alright RonJ, went and bled the coolant
then I cleaned the IACV with brake cleaner, and then...
went to take off the fast idle valve and coolant shot out of the ports that go to the throttle body. It's busted. Ordered a new one from Honda and it's gonna be here friday for me to pick up.
You found my problem, thanks.

Always glad to help out (but you should reserve judgment until you show that installation of the new FITV actually fixes the idle problem!)

true, but i think it's safe to say that it's most likely what the problem was
