i have a 2000 civic ex coupe 5-speed. 67,000 miles on it. white in color and have had over a year now. the one thing i dont care for about it is it has a bumpy ride to it, i mean it follows every bumps in the road and everything and i wish i had a bigger car.

how the the accords compared to the civics? i mean is the ride quality alot nicer?
i found a 4-cylinder 1999 accord 4 door sedan 5-speed with 37,000 miles on it for $10,995
how are this year accords and does this sound like a good deal?

Personally, I'm in love with the '06 Accords. They ride smooth, without reducing handling quality. The seats are comfortable and it's roomy enough. Not as roomy as my car, but my car is also a Midsized sedan, while the Accord is a compact sedan, IIRC. All the goodies that come into a fully loaded Accord turns me on too! Navigation, XM radio, leather, 6-speed..... Yum!

 

you should check into getting a prelude over an accord, the over all cars are about the same size, exsept the accord has 4 doors.

i just want something alittle roomier then my civic right now.

 

You might find this weird, but how tall are you? I am 5'7 and fit in the Accord pretty well, the Civic is a smidge smaller (the 4-door) so it feels a bit more cramped. And I am comparing '06 to '06 here. I'm not sure about the older ones. I'm in touch more with the new ones.

 

i have both..a 93 Accord and a 99 Civic
I like the Accord because its more a family car and driving out to places...

I like the Civic when im going out to drive..

just depends on what you are mainly going to use it for..

 

I have an '06 Honda Civic EX Coupe and my wife has an '04 Honda Accord.

My car has better ride quality, hands down. My wife's in love with it, more than me.

the car just has a surefootedness that I can't describe in words.

I keep telling anybody that will listen to me that the new civic coupes are now mini-GTs now (and NO, not a mustang GT) GT as in grand touring car. The coupes are smooth and sporty with real grip and sneaky fast acceleration.

it reminds me of my high school buddy's Toyota Supra, the coupes are so sporty now.
