converting an automatic to a manual...

about how much does this cost?
im trying to trade my automatic for a manual... but it doesnt seem like anyone wants to lol....
i did find one guy, but he wants me to add like 2 grand

you have the same motor as a 97. I don't know if the transmission is the same, but I paid like 400 for my last manual trans.
