i just baught a 88' crx, and i was wondering, if anyone knew where i could get a b18 motor, for really cheap?

b series and really cheap usually don't go together, but if you look enough you can find anything, make sure it isn't stolen

sweet, thanks for the reply on this, i have a friend that has a b18 for his crx si, but i cant get it from him, cause his motor is toast in his current crx,(he's only running on 2-3 of his cylinders) OUCH!!!!! but im gonna keep looking, i found a b18 zc motor on ebay, brandnew from japan, it is a jdm, but they want 1G for it, and i dont have a job at the moment so, i guess i will keep looking, if you or anyone else finds anything/knows anything, you should hit me up on this post!!!!

last i herd, a b-series tranny is a bitch to find... maybe you can fit a k series in there?

idk, how fast do you think my gen.3 88' crx wil go stock? i cant find out for like a week, so i was wondering if anyone here would know!

thats not to bad for stock! i guess, i am getting a header for it from a friend in lik ea week or less, so that should add 10-15 hp!! then hopefully after i get it registered i will have lik e700-850 dollars left, and i will look for a newer motor b16-b18, cause i am gonna go to a drag strip in june so, i need a motor that is fast, not one that is slow, with 170,000 miles on it! LoL

F' that b-16, or b-18 s**t my friend withand 04 sti, said he will get me a H22, with tranny, for 800.00 flat, (thats a BAD*SS deal ) if you ask me!! i just need a job, lol! i also need this motor B4 june, cause we are goin to some dragraces, and i need my car "built" a little bit B4 then!!! just to have sumthin good, that would make me run like 11's or 12's(i think) or better? im not sure

Good luck with the H22. Thats gonna be a pain. Youre going to have shohorn that mother in there for sure. And becareful with the sleeves on em. Theyre made of aluminum so dont bore it out barely at all.

i know how to get it in, my friend that is gettin it for me, said he will help, cause he put them in a few other civics(h.b.'s, and a crx) recently
