so i crashed my 94 civic lx 4 door and i am trying to get some money out of it. I was just wondering what is a complete d15b7 swap(engine,trans, computer, and everything else u need for the swap) worth. I know this isnt a sought after engine but someone has got to want one for a replacement. The catch is the swap has almost 200k miles, but compression is great and no leaks or mechanical flaws.

 

I don't see why you would want to transplant an engine with 100 hp. Usually, people swap engines to gain horsepower... and with that mileage, I dont think it would be that great. I would guess 400$ or more if you're lucky. What sort of damage is on the car, and is it a 5spd/auto?

 

the front end is damaged but thats not the problem i have been using this as a parts car for almost a year so lots of other things are missin. not worth takin the time and money to get it moving again. and it is a auto

 

Nothing wrong with a D15B7 if someone has one with a blown engine and just wants an economy car. Don't think it would sell for much considering the miles but it is worth something.
