Question d15b7 question
hello new to the forum and to honda ,ok i have a 94 civic dx 5 speed it has a 95 motor in it my question is when i get to around 4000 rpm it seems like something kicks in is this how they all are ?

Ok. The reason I asked is because I had a hunch that it may have had a head swap... but since it has that valve cover then it is most likely still the original head.

Can you describe the "kicks in"?

well when it does it the motor gets a little louder and i can feel a little more power it does it in 1st and 2nd gear

my moms car dose the same thing that motor stock sucks *** i will gas it hard then it will like hesitate then it will go that when it get to like 3500 rpm it will do that automatic trans tho. i think its normal
