Default D16 or b16

I just blew my D16 and want to know if its time to upgrade to a B16 or just but another D16. I will be putting a turbo on it and it is my daily driver.

Personally, I'd go with a D16Z6 or a D16Y8. For the cost of the B16 swap, you could have another D16 already in the car and be well on your way to a very good turbo setup (or already be boosted with a bare-bones setup). You can find D16s on craigslist for <$500 all day long.

depends on alot of things, how much money you want to spend, how much power your looking to get, and whether your going to run at the track or just drive it daily?

I want to be able to have a good daily driver that runs about 7 pounds of boost around town but can handle 11 to 12 pounds when I wanna put my foot in it.

PSI is irrelevant.

5psi through a straw from McDonalds is different than 5lbs through a HX35 turbo.

How much power are you looking for (HP/TQ), and how much do you have to spend?

Thats the thing. I need a motor for a grand or under. I've been looking on ebay and it seems to be my best bet.
