I have a '00 civic LX D16y7. Was looking online at some JDM ZC replacement engines. What would i have to change to install a JDM ZC "D16y7"..I dont know if the designation is the same or not so maybe some of you could correct me if i a wrong. Some say you would have to change the intake and exhaust....trying to find out if this is true...and why. No emissions check where i am if that is a reason.

Oh yeah i was looking at a thread on a forum associated with Vegas and they were saying that JDM engines are a no-no out there. interesting info.
