DIY Amber cornerlights

Can a Mod please move this to the DIY section if its worthy enough? :o
This is my first DIY Thread ever... lol

I was looking online for some new headlights and corner lights for my Del Sol, but I just wasn't sure if I liked the way they looked (the 1 piece headlights). And didnt want to deal with Fitment issues. (not to mention the prices lol)

So i went over to Kragen and got a can of "DupliColor Metalcast" in orange. and decided to try and make my own Amber Corner Lights
This is what my Headlights looked like after a DIY black housing and Stock colored corners..

All you need is:
A spray can of "DupliColor Metalcast" in orange. ( got mine for $7 bucks)
your OEM corner lights. (or w/e you have..lol)
Clear coat (if you want. I didnt use any)
And soap and a towel to clean your headlights before spraying them.

1.You wanna make sure you wash and clean and dry your corners really good before you start spraying them.

2.I personally didnt sand them or anything, and the paint seemed to stick VERY well.

3. Make sure your first coat is VERY light. so you wont get any drips or anything.
This was my first coat:

4. And just keep adding more and more Coats until its as dark as you want it. Waiting about 10 min. in between each coat.

I think i did about 4-5 coats.
And this is what it looks like after :)

5. And i guess you can clear coat them for them to last longer. I might be doing this tomorrow since Im happy with the way they came out.
BTW While the paint is drying the paint might seem a bit dull, But once its completely dry it will turn nice and glossy. :D

IMO it was WELL WORTH the $7 I spent on the Spray Paint.
Im very happy with the results. :)
