ok i replaced my driver door window today and the guy who did it took off the plastic coverin that it had and didn't put it back. i went back and told the guy wat he do to it. he said he had cut it off and threw it away and i said wtf! guys, do i need it?

 

are you talking about the weather strip thing?
make sure water cant go in thru there...

 

its the plastic cover thing that goes inside the i think its called the door panel?

 

If it is the plastic cover that is on the door its self, you do not need it. I think it is just to keep some road noise down. Im not 100% sure on what its for tho.

if your talking about the plastic thing behind the door panel then you dont have to have one. but its still messed up that he took it off and threw it away. bad business IMO. don't go back again

 

yeah, that thing is more to keep dirt, moisture, and road noise out of the cabin. The dude was a lazy piece of **** for just cutting it off.

 

yeah thats the plastic i'm talkin bout. but i'm goin to the junk yard and gettin me another one... btw is it possible to convert my dash or at least my center counsil to somethin better cause i don't like where my cup holders are...
